This construction-manager-at-risk project renewed an old school by demolishing about 2/3 of the existing school, and renovating the remaining seven classrooms, toilet facilities and the gymnasium. It is a 26-classroom school with a multi-purpose room connected to the gym. The new classroom wing is on two levels, and the administration, music, and art room are on one level.

The exterior has metal sidings, stucco/EIFS on metal studs with batt insulation and translucent panels for tactile texture and color. The main entry has covered canopies and the roofing is EPDM single ply membrane over rigid insulation. This being a Japanese immersion school, it has translucent light panels (Kal-wall) reminiscent of the Shoji Screen that are often used within the Japanese culture.
