Some of the trades that have application deadlines coming up are: Ironworkers (Deadline March 1st), Teamster – Surveyor (Deadline March 15th), Anchorage Laborers (Deadline March 15th), Fairbanks Laborers (Deadline March 29th), Fairbanks Carpenters (Deadline March 15th), Juneau Plumbers & Pipefitters (Deadline April 30th). Electricians (Deadlines: Anchorage – March 30, 2019; Juneau – Line Apprentice Application Deadline, March 1, 2019; Ketchikan – Wireman (Electrician) Application Deadline, March 1, 2019).
The Laborers will be having Try-Outs for anyone interested in joining the apprenticeship. You can apply online at www.alaskaworks.org under the Training tab for those try-outs CHUGIAK March 11-15, 2019 and FAIRBANKS April 8-12, 2019.
Our Women in the Trades program will be hosting a CDL Class-A two week introductory course for women interested in applying to the Teamsters apprenticeship program and becoming a Construction Driver apply online at www.alaskaworks.org under the Women in the Trades tab.Job Opportunities
